Bead Dogs on Parade

These are pretty cool Mardi Gras sculptures!  Giant bead dogs!  The whimsical sculptures that are sprinkled around New Orleans are modeled after bead sculptures that children fashion from Mardi Gras beads.  The bead dogs will be auctioned off after Mardi Gras, proceeds benefitting LASPCA.


This gives me another idea for next year's blue suede glitter shoes.  It would be a great way to employ some used beads.  "Hound dog" blue suede glitter shoes?  I think so.
