Heartbreak Throw!

Well, you can blab all you want about the blinky KRE logo throw because, as it turns out, that was not the “secret throw.”  Instead, it’s a “Heartbreak Hotel” packet with a keychain, bar of soap and an ashtray.  Very original!  Between the Heartbreak Hotel bags, blinky necklaces, and blue-suede glitter shoes, we are going to be loaded with cool throws!
Parade day is less than 3 weeks away!  We’ve been so worried about our hair, we nearly forgot that our fab boots shed some of their dazzle last year.  Time to warm up that hot glue gun again and restore them to their full glory.

Throw Me Something, Mister!

Untitled

Everyone got a stash of a top secret throw included in their bags of signature throws this year.  Since our bags of loot-to-distribute have been 300 miles away in New Orleans, Lauren and I have been left pondering what it could possibly be.  Perhaps the big, pink Cadillac, medallion necklaces that were suspiciously out of stock at Mardi Gras Imports?  That was one theory.  Tom finally relieved our agony and unveiled the secret throw for us.  Video was required to do it justice:

Big, Blue “Do”

How awesome is Lauren’s new, big, blue beehive?!  Her hot pink “Spice Girl” wig was looking a little tired and wind-ravaged, so she decided to upgrade this year.  It’s so fine I’m now thinking I might need a new one. And won’t this look just fabulous with her “Vegas King” mini-dress and blue cape?!  Gorgeois!  And even though her hair is so big it hardly fit inside this photo frame, it will fit right in with the entertainment for the Muses’ Ball after the parade:  The B52’s!!!
Blue suede-glitter shoes...big, blue “do”...B52’s...it’s all starting to come together!  Rock (and Roll) Lobster!

Gorgeois Shoes!!!

Untitled

Try to control your jealousy, ladies!  These were as fun to make as they are fabulous to look at, albeit a bit messy - I have been sporting some eye-catching manicures that included remnants of blue paint, glitter, and bits of feathers for several weeks.  Our parade trophies are now safe and sound in New Orleans, ready for parade day.  Can’t wait to see the shoe creations of the other Priscillas and the top secret throw! (Elvi Tom has them in hand but is holding out on us!)
