Heading to the Big (Fr)Easy

We’re heading to the Big (Fr)Easy this afternoon.  This morning’s weather forecast for Thursday is mildly improved temperature-wise (yeah!) but not so on the precipitation side (boo dat!).  If it looks like it’s going to be too rainy, they could even postpone or, heaven forbid, cancel our parade.  Hoping for drier weather and side slats for our truck!
No parade position to give you as of this morning, but we will be on the river (ParadeCam) side of the truck (as opposed to the neutral ground side).  While we eagerly await the announcement of our parade position, I’ll go ahead and pass on some ways you can join us online:
WDSU has a parade tracker.  Based on experience, I can tell you that it’s about as reliable as gametrackers are.  There are even instructions on the page to have the info sent to your cell phone:
WDSU will also be livestreaming the parade along with the other 2 we roll with, Chaos and Babylon.  Muses will the the finale (but of course!).  So hook your computer up to your TV, if you can, put on some beads, and watch the parades in your warm, dry livingroom:
And, of course, there’s the ParadeCam from nola.com at Fat Harry’s:
